Lynx Multimax rings provide a variable taper to your scope to accommodate shooters who require more vertical adjustment when shooting over long rangers than their scope provides.
Eccentric steel inserts are placed inside the ring halves to taper the scope tube relative to the barrel. The inserts are machined in such a way that the rings self-align with the scope tube so no lapping is required.
In combination with the self-centreing stud-ring system that aligns the rings perpendicularly to the barrel the inserts in the Multimax ring system ensures within reason that the scope tube comes under no external pressures by being bent by an uneven mount platform.
